Melissa McGinnis

Melissa graduated from University of Missouri, BA (Theatre) with Honors, Dean’s List. She is a member of the American Federation of Radio & Television Artists since 2006, & has worked for a number of years as both an actress & model. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Melissa was employed as Director of the Kansas City commercial acting branch of AIGP, a national Talent Agency. There she was in charge of administration, talent acquisitions, organizing fundraisers. She also taught workshops in theatrical & commercial acting & runway modeling. She also worked in Kansas City and Los Angeles as a consultant to private companies and high net worth individuals in fundraising and marketing activities for motion pictures. She has developed skills in corporate compliance, governance and financial reporting. She is also skilled in investor relations, advertising and promotions, including sales and event management.

In 2013, Melissa co-founded and is CEO of Smart Angels Film Fund, LLC (SMAFF) where she handled Administration (USA). Smart Angels Film Fund LLC provides marketing/promotion and advisory services for motion pictures, as well as access to private equity for production.

In 2022, Melissa co-founded and is the CEO of Spinrack Corporation, a Web3 gaming and entertainment corporation centered around a community-driven network-economy based on comic books from world renown creators Chuck Dixon & Graham Nolan. (Chuck & Graham created the character 'Bane' for Batman & other characters for Marvel & DC Comics.) Spinrack is launching to the public Q2-2023 with mobile game called Comics Chaos and then into the Metaverse in 2024.
