Marlon "DJ Thump" Rice

Las Vegas based Radio Personality, Marlon “DJ THUMP” Rice is greatly known as The  Turntable Assassin because of his incredible DJ’ing skills.  

Originally from Los Angeles, California, “DJ THUMP” was fortunate to first land a gig at one  the hottest radio stations in the nation, 92.3 The Beat. With such an awesome career start  in radio as a winning personality, “DJ THUMP” was able to move to another entertainment  capital of the world Las Vegas, Nevada and take off over the airwaves. While working at  Power 88.1 the locals’ favorite radio station for R&B and Soul, “DJ THUMP” became one of  the leading radio personalities in Las Vegas. It is supernatural to hear “DJ THUMP” waking  up the Las Vegas valley on the 702 Wake Up Crew weekdays from 6am to 9am PST.  

“DJ THUMP” has received many opportunities in the entertainment industry as a public  figure of Las Vegas due to his entertaining personality and multiple talents. By his finesse  he has obtained movie roles and public speaking contracts for special events, concerts and  corporate functions.

Through his dynamic Djing skills he has performed at private parties for celebrities such as  Cathy Hughes, Monique, Erica Campbell, Teena Marie, Joe Jackson, Bruce Bruce, E40,  Charlie Wilson, and many more.

“DJ THUMP” enjoys seeking out opportunities to spread words of encouragement to the  youth. He represents as a member of PHI BETA SIGMA Fraternity Inc. and volunteers his  services throughout the city and local community. He stands by his saying, “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”

Now as an entrepreneur he founded an online radio station, Rize Radio. This new business  venture will allow “DJ THUMP” to explore his talents even more. He looks forward to being  the trailblazer. So, keep it locked.
