Charles Butler, MD, is a passionate Physician, Olympian, and Serial Entrepreneur. He founded and currently runs a high-end jewelry company, CharlesJewelry.com, while still making time to practice medicine as well as build in Web3. He launched both NFTCrownJewels.com and SwankySpaceSquad.com on the Ethereum blockchain in 2022. His NFT Projects give access to fine jewelry and diamonds at manufacturing prices – well below wholesale and retail pricing.
Before entering college, Charles was an Olympic Athlete competing in the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympic Games in the sport of Ice Dancing with his partner Jessica Joseph. After the Olympics, Charles graduated from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. He founded his jewelry company in 2002 and then obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree at the New York University School of Medicine in 2010. Charles has excelled in multiple startups and participates in Olympic sponsored projects with the Special Olympics and Ronald McDonald House.
Charles believes in charity and has organized numerous fundraisers and volunteered at free clinics to provide free medical care to those in need. Over the years, CBS This Morning, USA Today, ESPN, NBC, Sirius XM Doctor Radio and Paramount Motion Pictures have featured Charles as an athlete, doctor, and innovator.
